Cider Day 2017

Sunday, September 24th at Willow Brook Farm.

1-5 PM

We’ll open up the farm to the public to join us in the annual tradition of cider making. Pick some apples, talk a walk around the farm, try some cider!

We have a dozen or more antique apple trees around the property that we are rehabilitating and there are plenty of apples* to pick.

Your job is to pick some apples, then we’ll show you how to press your own cider. Bring a jug to take it home.

Bring a picnic or try out a pizza from our new wood-fired pizza oven. (Bring your own drinks.)

$5/person suggested donation for cider making. Pizza available for donation.

*We are not an apple orchard specifically, so our apples are otherwise unmanaged and not sprayed. This means the apples are not necessarily as pretty as those apples you find in a grocery store, but ours are still tasty – and, more importantly, chemical free. These apples are perfect for cider making.
